Fall 2026 from the JMP Global Academic team

Thank you for bringing JMP into your classroom. As the fall term gets underway, we'd like to share several resources designed to support your teaching this semester, including a new student learning module, our fall webinar lineup, license renewal steps, and other updates. If you have questions about teaching with JMP or are interested in on-campus training sessions or virtual one-on-one support sessions, please email us at academic@jmp.com.

New teaching resource: Getting Started with JMP for Students

Do your students need help learning the basics of JMP? Our new learning module, Getting Started with JMP for Students, uses quick tutorial videos and simple exercises to teach students how to import data, make graphs, perform analyses, and save and export results. No statistics knowledge is required, and most students can complete the module in less than 45 minutes.

How do I renew my JMP Student Edition license?

It’s that time of year when many faculty and students need to renew their JMP Student Edition license. If you need to renew your license:

  1. Sign in to your My JMP account.
  2. Tell us about yourself and your studies and agree to the terms of the JMP Academic License Agreement.
  3. Verify your academic status by selecting your university and logging in.

If successful, your JMP Student Edition software will be available for another 12 months. You can confirm the new expiration date in your My JMP account view.
